Access to education is a fundamental human right.
No child left behind
WE WORK TO BREAK THE CYCLE OF POVERTY FOR CHILDREN IN DHAKA’S SLUMS. WE AIM TO GIVE STUDENTS THE CHANCE OF A BETTER LIFE FOR THEMSELVES, THEIR FAMILIES, AND THEIR COMMUNITY.
Equality
All children have the right to learn. In the grips of generational poverty, children in Dhaka’s slums are more often than not denied the right to a comprehensive education. Children’s Hope aims to provide underprivileged children and their families equal access to a brighter future by supporting them from early schooling through to university graduation.
Empowerment
Knowledge is power. At Children’s Hope we believe a comprehensive education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and empowering students to uplift themselves and their communities. Children’s Hope works closely with student’s families to build their confidence in the long-term benefits of their child’s education.
Inclusivity
Life in Dhaka’s slums is a daily struggle to survive, and those with disabilities are too often unable to receive the support they need. Access to disability care and community enrichment is vital in breaking the ongoing stigma those with disabilities continue to face. Children’s Hope strives to provide medical support to families with disabilities and facilitate community integration to break down barriers between disabled individuals and their peers.
